Silent Violence
Paco Bandeira returned to the headlines, thanks to a case of domestic violence. It was in January 2012, that a news item published in Semanário SOL made known the process where he is accused of violence and mistreatment about his ex-partner, Maria Roseta.
The darker side of a musician who for years was cherished by the Portuguese public was made known through the accounts of Roseta and his ex-girlfriend, Marisa de Almeida, which reveal the way in which they were controlled, watched and humiliated by Paco.
The revelations also brought to light old suspicions about the death of his first wife: a case that ended up closed, but whose investigation was not enough to calm the doubts of Maria Fernanda's brother, who tried to reopen the investigation. Although, for Justice, the process was prescribed, a journalistic investigation allowed to unearth the unexplained contours of a death surrounded by mystery.
This book is the product of the collection of information, carried out over several months. Dozens of interviews, consultation of court cases and other documents, have made it possible to reconstruct some essential pieces to understand Paco Bandeira's alleged involvement in the crime of domestic violence, which is attributed to him.
